I could've seen a scenario where AA bought Frontier from BB and we got Eagle in exchange to solve our staffing issues but I'm happy that did not happen. I'm also ecstatic Eagle told Parker to stuff those large RJs where the sun don't shine in exchange for a B scale at a regional

I'm also happy that it didn't happen. However, I really have a hard time believing that Bedford would have even considered bringing aboard and integrating pilots with a better contract, a LOT of seniority and in need of a whole bunch of training events in exchange for Frontier. I think that would have merely substituted one problem for another.

A more likely scenario would be what happened to Colgan.

Anybody that knows, or has a qualified guess about Republic’s minimum regarding flight times required in the last 6 and 12 months? A have an ATP and I’m interested in the Q 400 but I only have 20+ hours in the last 6 months.

Did you not read what the pilots are trying to accomplish regarding pay/ work rules? It's guys like you who cut them off at the knees. As long as SJS applicants keep applying, management sees no reason to improve their contract. :rolleyes

Well since it hasn't been mentioned on here yet...the latest update from mediation is that the company continues to have their heels dug in. BB was present and even after all the earnings reports that came out (company making huge profits) He claims they can't afford what we are asking for (industry standard).

So thank you to all who keep applying and showing up to class for helping staff this awesome company. Your fascination with flying a super cool jet is helping keep the cost down for BB so he can wax his basketball court. Until this place can NOT put BUTTS IN SEATS...that is when we will get a contract. Until then, no cancelation pay, crap work rules, and that's just OK with management.

Thank you NMB, Wayneford, and all the little applicants out there who refuse to believe how bad it is and then complain about it on our message board. For the love of all things holy...APPLY TO: Skywest, XJET, TSA, Compass, Eagle, Commute Air, fricken GoJetz already!

I am one of those who just a few short months ago read these posts and thought "It CAN'T be THAT bad!"

Just wanted to reinforce to the non-believers that yes, RAH is actually as bad as advertised. Apply elsewhere!
