Not preparing or doing your homework doesn't work for me.

I have heard conflicting information. ATP= no test. Current 121=no sim. Just trying to figure out the best areas to hit. Thanks.

I didn't sim and had current 135 time and my ATP. The guys that did sim said it wasn't bad and they enjoyed it. I guess it's a crj200. Or so I heard.

Things have changed. Now everybody gets a sim ride and takes the test, even the 20 year Comair guys.

Everybody does the written, the simulator and the interview. There are no surprises. I was called the day after the interview and offered the job and given a class date.

Yes it is going on the Republic certificate. They do not have an ORD base. But they will. Makes much so more sense than putting it on the Shuttle certificate that does have an ORD base.

Can't speak for Republic, but at Shuttle we just started transitioning to AQP for recurrent. New hires still do non AQP training. However, they will have a full AQP program up and running in about a year.
