If you have been an intern, or your black, or you have a front butt, then you probably have a secured interview, and thus a job (unless you botch the interview).
Thanks for making my night by using the term front butt on the forum. Hope we fly together some time.

Do you think the industry is reaching a point where HR has a real fear of applicants being "too upwardly mobile" i.e., too likely to go on to Delta,FedEx, etc.?

Therefore applicants can easily find themselves overly qualified for anything less than the very, very top airlines?

Honest quetion..

As opposed to the lies and propaganda your union spoon feeds you? Do you even attempt to keep some perspective, or do you drink all that Kool-Aid with your eyes closed? Geesh, some people's kids...

Sweet, perfect timing if you want to be a career FO at a major.

Of course not.

He talks like it wont matter if you have PIC time. It drives me crazy when pilots dispense career advise on that basis (or fairytale). Eventually PIC wont be a "competitive resume" requirement, but until then, the difference will be that guys with turbine PIC will get hired first, followed by the rest. Just because PIC wont matter someday in the distant future, doesn't mean you should plan your career around not getting any.

For people contemplating career moves (of any kind), get your PIC to better position yourself for whatever comes next. You'll always be better off than the schmuck with no PIC.
