So they will be operated as a stand alone carrier and sell their own tickets and pay their own bills? Star Alliance, One World, and Skyteam are code-sharing joint ventures with the ability to collaborate on schedules. Everyone is still selling their own tickets.

I have to laugh here. Do you realize that you helped the company save millions by turning down that TA? Taking a stand would be not signing a pay cut like Express Jet and Eagle did. The company wasn't offering a pay cut to you. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with voting down that TA if it wasn't what was deserved but there is no stand being made here, only increases to the company's bottom line.

The language was terrible, the manner in which LOAs were to be used was less than ideal, pay for FOs was worse than the company's so-called LBFO, there were no rates for aircraft that the company has on order, the reserve language was really bad, and we kept getting a BS line about what the "negotiating notes," which won't help me a bit when I'm having a disagreement with a scheduler at 1AM, said.
Laugh all you want; 85% just happens to be the scientific standard for what is reasonable and no one cares about your reaction or thoughts at this point, particularly given your well-documented history of being a company stooge.
I will say, however, that the real reason this pilot group can't move forward and act in a collective manner that empowers our union is the attitude of folks like you.

Maybe in the short term, but money isn't everything, particularly at a company that can't be trusted to follow a contract that allows the company even a little room with which to immediately begin eroding the giveaways of the contract, and this TA was full of that.

We are taking stand...if you don't feel that way, at least shut up and let the people willing to stick their necks out to make the place better handle the situation while you sit back, make your comfortable living as a captain and biatch about and ridicule those that are actually taking risks and making sacrifices to improve our collective quality of life.
Also, how is my choice not to use your full quote relevant? It's available for everyone to read, and it's not like people familiar with your posts don't know that you're little more than a company stooge....deal with it.
