If they don't offer positive space, say no thank you to the interview. They will come back and offer positive space instead of standby. Get the point across to them that standby is unacceptable.

Aka... They don't want you to hold out for a 170 class and suckered you into taking a Q or 145 class. Welcome to the suck. Enjoy 145 CHQ training!

No congratulations here. Welcome to the suck that is republic. Too bad you didn't get hired elsewhere.

I asked this on another thread, and wanted to hear from a RAH perspective. For someone that can't go everywhere, what is a better choice with offers from GoJet and RAH? I know many of you have something bad to say of both, but I will end up going to either so I appreciate the help and guidance.

Have people been awarded ORD on the Republic 170 yet? Is it still going to to senior?

Default Republic Questions

They awarded me a 170 with republic but i declined in favor of CHQ. They are filling a lot of 170 classes but you don't get you bases until along in training.

It's a mix but surprisingly leaning more junior. It's small right now but will eventually be our largest base. Would be fairly easy to hold due to so much movement.

Gotcha. I was offered a conditional offer upon reaching 1500tt, which I should have around December, are they putting newhires there or are all the people going there current pilots with bids in? Hoping for ORD since it seems like it'll be more commuter friendly. Is it only the AA flying or do they flow you into the PHL/DCA/CLT system for US?
