You dont want people to go to Republic, but you are staying around filling a seat. You're saying if people keep coming to Republic you wont get a contract. But yet by you staying and working, you are accepting the current pay rates and contract. So if you are so mighty with the words you use, how about you just quit and that will show management that you are worth more then the contract!
Until then, I will do my part to educate people who are not experienced or aware of the reality of RAH. I truly believe that this management group will NOT negotiate and give us a fair contract that we deserve until their hands are tied with poor recruitment. So if that is the only card we can play right now, so be it....Bedford admitted that we are getting a bad rep from a recruitment perspective is his last sermon...so that furthers my lowly theory. I would love for people to come to our company, but right now I do NOT accept the wages that we get as acceptable. For us or anyone who operates the type of equipment we do, and fly the routes we do.
For the love of God we are trying to get a better contract that (unlike other certain pilot groups) will hopefully raise the bar or keep it somewhat respectable for this damn "profession". If you see my comments to prospective RAH pilots, and they sound negative, they are NOT meant to be personal attacks. This is our union campaign for education and deterrence. Once we get the contract that we deserve and is FAIR, I have no problem telling people what bases they are hiring into, what equipment and how much fun it is to fly Big Shinny Jetz with engines under the wings! If your for helping raise the bar in this crap industry, please support our cause. If you need a job you need a job, I get that. But if you have options, GO ELSEWHERE until there's a new contract in place. I am not trying to be a jerk, just help our cause please.

Good idea...being unemployed and me quitting will get us a new contract! I love guys like this who think that they can change things by just quitting my job to show management. If you have a job for me that is better than this place, I would gladly leave. So if not, please feel free to shove it. I have my apps out there, and am waiting amongst the many to get out of this place.

In previous post, mentioned that people coming to RAH are not helping the fact. But I want to remind you that you accepted the same work rules and pay rates as the new guy. So you didn't help anymore then a new guy.
But I understand your frustration. I agree with you, but just didn't like the way it was worded. And thank you for trying to educate new guys.

You're right B.B., no one should ever try to improve their quality of life through better pay, benefits, or work rules.

Just "appreciate the job you have and be thankful for it"...
