He only listed the bases for Republic (YX). Chautauqua (RP) and Shuttle (S5) bases are not listed.

After the downsizing at RP, the remaining RP bases will be:

SDF
LGA
CMH

S5 bases are as follows:

LGA
ORD
CMH
IND
EWR (opening in the next month)

PIT flies the Q400 and the E170 on the YX certificate ONLY. It is senior for good most E170 CAs, but also junior for E170 CAs since nobody wants to commute to PIT. PIT Q400 CA is junior, PIT Q400 FO is junior. Pit is easy out of training.

In my humble opinion, PIT is WAAAAY overbuilt for an outstation and will be downsizing as soon as American decides where our next base will be. That said, I think it will continue to be a junior base since it is a tough commute. Expect lots of early starts (5:00am or earlier) and lots of late finishes.

All the junior most guys in my Republic (YX) E-170 class got PIT even though it wasn't their first or second choice. It will depend on your age. Older guys got their first choice (about half the class)

Go to Skywest!! All you need to do is look at our current TA and current contract to realize that you can do far far better elsewhere!

Does all your AA flying out of ORD originate from PIT? There are a lot of flights out of ORD for it not to be a crew hub.

Use Endeavor as an example of what is/will happen at Republic with a sub-par contract and a shrinking fleet. A new hire will be stuck on the bottom of the list for eternity. As people move up the list the list just shrinks. You will never enjoy an increase of your QOL or relative seniority. It is a catch 22, they need to raise wages but judging by this TA they can't afford to. As the regionals continue to fall apart I would not be surprised to see Republic be one of the first to crumble.

GSO, DEN senior, consider everything else junior in that you can hold it after a few months.

Has any Republic pilots heard of RAH getting an infusion of cash from investors recently?

It's a publicly traded company. Our cash position is adequate and anything like you are talking about would be public.
