You guys just won big. You stopped the TA vote. You get to remain on the same contract now indefinitely. Big win. Good job. What's another 5 years of the same contract?
Yeah, because that "TA" would've been a huge increase in QOL...

There was no TA. TA stands for Tentative Agreement

Actually, it is a big win because that "LBFO" was worse than our current contract and I didn't even think that was possible. Sure they threw in a couple of dollars on the pay rates but that came at a huge price.

Sounds like they have all of you right where they want you. Show you something worse than hell, and now you're satisfied with what you have... Classic

Not satisfied with what we currently have either. There is a reason there was a strike vote that passed with an overwhelming majority.

It was not worse than the current contract, obviously.

Rumors about a sign up bonus are really counter-productive. Guys out there on the line or rsv have been around long enough to realize the importance of QOL. I hope they reach an agrement soon on a new contract, I'd hate for me or someone else to go there in a few months then lose my job to a strike w/out union protection and a $24000 training contract hanging over my head.

It's not a surprise labor negotiations are slow and painfull, but I have to believe the company has already decided what it's real LBFO is. Even if they wait till zero hour to reveal it.

If the union strikes the training contract will never hold up in court and would be null and void. You can rest assured of that.

If they strike there won't be any CA to fly with so the airplane won't be going anywhere.

You obviously have not read either of them, have a complete lack of understanding how airline contracts work (pay rates are the smallest part of an airline contract) or are being sarcastic, can't tell.
