I find more of us on here saying that as far as regionals go, this is a fairly decent place to work. I have no problem recommending this place (Republic Airline). 4th yr FO, made almost $70k last yr (without picking up overtime) and hold 15-18 days off per month (22 this month, but that's due to an IOE displacement).

BTW, I can hold Capt but choose not to for various personal and QOL reasons. My time off when I want it off is more important to me than a title. You did read the part where I'm working only 8 days this month and paid 80 hrs of credit, right?!

Do you think the seniority list has this magical cutoff where the FOs end and the CAs begin? There are a lot of people who could be a captain and just don't want to upgrade right now. At the current rate of attrition, not counting growth, I will see upgrade at 2.5 years with this company. Chances are high that I will wait longer to get better choice of base, bidding power, etc. And as others have said, if the only thing you care about is upgrades, then please don't come here.
