This may be useless information but the most junior EWR FO line holder is a July hire. This may be useless because it's February and it's reduced schedules, plus a lot of things are different this year (fleet growth). I'd wager it will be down around 3 months through the summer. Maybe less.

Short answer to your question: no. We're apparently fairly well staffed right now from what I can tell/hear. For the last 3-4 months, I've averaged roughly 15 block hours and just a handful of nights away from home per month. If you live in base and can live off min guarantee, you can't beat it. But if commute and looking to make money, you're gonna be SOL.
***Disclaimer: Reserve usage definitely depends on base. I'm at MCI, and there's nothing going on here. I'm sure reserves in LGA/EWR/DCA are getting used more.

Anyone willing to breakdown the schedule of the training pipeline?
I know that Indoc is two weeks and systems is three weeks. But, how long are people waiting to start Sims? How long are sims? Wait between sims and IOE? I'm looking to get started in the March class.

I applied yesterday (Sunday) and got a call & email first thing this morning with no internal referral. I tried calling back and left a message but never got a return call so maybe they changed their mind.

Prospective new hire here with a few questions:
- Someone mentioned a training contract about 50 pages ago. Is there a training contract?
- Is there a contract for the $10k signing bonus?
- I haven't seen anything mentioned about CMH as a domicile. Is it still available? Junior?
Thanks fellas!

I believe you have to pay back a portion of your bonus if you leave early.
There is a Cmh base. All bases on the fo side come pretty quick. I would expect about 6 months to get Cmh.
