In between the headlight valve and muffler fluid reservoir.

Did someone really pull the props into disc in flight again? I thought that trick went out in the '80s.

Quote: Laugh if you like but info comes directly from the higher reaches of the training dept. A real cordial short fellow with a moustache if memory serves. Anywho, said input has let the cat out of the bag on this one. Let me repeat, the acquisition of 200s and Q400s is a reality. This wasnt blowing smoke on the first day of training in a vain attempt to retain new F.O.s. This is legit
hahah woow just read this one. First off the "cordial short fellow with a moustache" has the power to throw you out of class anytime. So maybe stay clear of the name calling new hire!! As far as the q400s and 200's you have been told wrong. No one hear would ever tell you that. Q400 is prohibited to scope clause and that is mainlines decision. As far as the 200's, we may have jumped the gun early one that one and certainly apoligize but it would just be too costly.

Whoops!
Yea sorry fellas, kinda jumped the gun on that one. I'll admit it. It just, I've got so much to be thankful for at PDT that I could hardly contain my strong feelings for such a wonderful company. Here's what I have to be thankful this year:

A beautiful fleet of state lf the art DHC-100
A salary that is second to none
Unsurpassed per diem/ benefits
The best training in the business
A gorgeous base structure
A flow through to Airways
Life long career opportunities
Job security
Management that cares/is competent/does their job
The absolute prestige of flying a 30 yr old turboprop

The water feels so good once off the sinking ship. Good riddance piedmont airlines. Call me disgruntled or bitter or naive or whatever you want but no regrets. Piedmont is a festering wound of an organization, it can rot in hell without me!

Don't forget that management follows the contract. Always. Negotiates in good faith. Your paycheck is 100% correct 100% of the time. The excellent lines with 17 days off. The lists go on!

Come to think of it, I can't believe I ever left that place. What was I thinking?!?!?!?!?

Quote: All of the PDT aircraft have the beta lockout system installed. Occasionally, an engine may start with an ECU in manual and the prop will be in the prohibited range once the condition lever is moved out of start/feather. This requires a reset of the beta lockout circuit breaker. Specifically, what is the location of this circuit breaker?
PiedmontCLT, I'm still waiting for an answer...

Better try something other than Google to find an answer this time around.

BTW: The word you're looking for is "here". Do I need to say that louder so you can "hear" me??? Idiot.

So here is a thanksgiving newhire question...at what stage do you take the oral? Before or after the sims or os there even an oral in aqp?
Reply
During this event the ECU's revert to manual mode, and igniters are turned on. ECU's will remain in manual until the beta lockout "tattle" CB in the nose compartment is cycled. The "parking brake" mod" disconnects the beta lockout circuitry when the parking brake is set, preventing voltage spikes and improper power lever position during start and shutdown from triggering the system.

Hope that answers your question Trent, Feel free to call us up or shoot an email for any other questions

Thats an ok question? Not too many people take orals after the sim ha. AQP is aligned with 2 orals. The first being before your MV(limitations, emergency, procedures, etc.) and another brief one prior to your LOFT. These types of questions are more directed at your decision skills such as alternates, WX, MEL's etc. Good luck
