Quote: Look man, I've been reading your crap for years on this forum, and under your other screen names on the other forums. You can be pretty entertaining, and hilarious at times. But lately, you're actually starting to embarrass yourself with all the obsession with Eagle. Hours and hours of posting and thousands of posts running down envoy, predicting bad things for envoy, and trying to discourage anyone from working here. If I were you, I'd just relax and enjoy your life at AA. You seem proud to work there, and that's good. Sure, pop in here now and again and entertain us with some of your funny metaphors and humorous ramblings, but for God sakes, take it down a notch.

Why does it bother you so much to let the envoy guys have some optimism or hope that things might be improving? What's wrong with Cujo talking up the future here? The guys at the other regionals do it. I used to disagree with you a lot, but respected your opinions as a long time eagle pilot. Now it's just getting sad.
THIS! You nailed it. I'm honestly sick of it. Always right. Always has to get the last word in. Always witty (which became boring a long time ago). I honestly don't think I've ever read a post in which he actually wrote something positive about anything related to AE/AA.

I may be wrong here, but didn't the yes voters get rid of the arbitrator ruling for contractual flow?

Lost in all the back and forth nonsense was the fact that Envoy will be bringing 5 airplanes out of the desert. I'd say given the staffing situation that a lot of the non wholly owned regionals are in, this is a trend that will probably continue. We have pilots and we have airplanes.

We may have been slated for lots of stagnation and shrinkage, but now that we've signed a deal AAG is turning this place around. It's happening a lot quicker than any of the most optimistic among us had thought.

The fact that a lot of this flying is going to be in Critical Coverage at 200% will help a lot of guys that have weathered the storm here.

So I go away for 2 weeks and RJ Pilot, FirstClass, and the rest have all dropped "Good Luck!"?

Awww, it was cute when you guys did it together. We're just done with "Good Luck!" then? It's like "Phrasing" being done...

Quote: But they would be better off at PSA with a 20 year flow, but with your logic as to why Eagle flow won't work, I guess I could throw that back at PSAs SSP and say the same thing. After all, if we can't hire, you can't hire.
Flow?? Flow is a joke at any airline. A pyramid scheme at best. I hope we get zero flow at PSA. I certainly wouldn't give anything up for it. It's meaningless, non-tangible, and at best a floating target. I would rather bet my career on something more meaningful like being Captain very quickly instead of sitting around at Envoy as an 8 year FO, 4 of which are on reserve in some bases.

Good Luck!

Yep current FOs have gotten hosed no doubt. If we had voted yes in the beginning, we'd be at a less than 2 year upgrade right now. PSA didn't have anything stellar until they voted yes. Math is math though and those times will drop rapidly soon.

As far as flow being meaningless, I can understand it to someone like you. Faced with 20 years to flow, you are banking on getting hired through the front door. A flow makes it harder for someone like you to do that. Your motivations are obviously self serving, but then, you are a PSA troll after all!

Tell the 481 pilots, or 62% of all new hires at AA in the last two years, that flow is worthless

So says the guy with a 20 year wait for an interview, and 9,000 other qualified applicants all with PIC time all applying to be street hires.... meanwhile, AA is currently taking 62% from Envoy, plus a few from PDT and PSA and with recalls they are not hiring one single street hire.... so what is that PIC time worth right now for applying at AA?

As the shortage worsens, and the mainlines struggle to keep their wholly owned regionals staffed; how do you see them doing that? You guys can keep your great PIC time, it may help at United; but both Delta and AA clearly have the handwriting on the wall for where it's headed.

6 years street to AA. Best commuter policies in the industry currently, and upgrades that are created by flow and won't be based upon growth that eventually can't be staffed anyway.

It's a good time to be a pilot, and an even better time to be an Envoy pilot

Cujo665 you know its not going to be a 20 yr wait to go to AA through PSA just like we know its not going to be a 2.5 year upgrade (you said it yourself its going to be more than 3.5 yrs) at Envoy so stop with the obvioulsy hyprocritical posts. You know PSA is going to get a flow and its not going to be 20 yrs, you also know that Envoy will not always get 50% of the AA new hire spots forever as the percentage decreases over time. Stop posting half truths.

You know in a few years the only way to AA will be through the wholly owned carriers and every path will be about 4-6 years.

You also know that Envoy needs to start getting a lot more new hires per month for the math to work out, 10 new guys a month does not replace attrition and bring upgrades down.

XJT has the best commuter policies in the regional industry even without giving out hotels, not Envoy.

I thought once you are at PSA the only way to AA is via the guaranteed interview, ~20 years from DOH. I don't think they can even apply through the front door.

So they automatically cross one of their options off
