We had 46 people in our class on 4/4 and over half the class were XLS, 10 were 350, and a handful Phenom and latitude to round it out.

The numbers per class seem to ebb and flow due to the training availability. Looking back at the last year we have had phenoms, XLS, Sovereign, Latitudes and 350s. The latitude and phenoms have seen the highest number of new hires. The longitude and the 350 have seen the fewest new hires. The company says they WILL NOT hire into the Challenger 650 and Global.

Over 23 people to the XLS? Wow, they must either plan on it being around a bit. Or, have so much sim availability, it just makes sense?

The latest word was 2028 for the XLS. The new hires are filling spots of those that upgraded/bided out of the XLS.

Rumor has it that when the last longitude makes it’s final flight to the boneyard, an XLS is going to fly in to pick up the crew

HaHa, that’s probably true 😂. I’m just surprised they have the capacity to even train 26 people into the XLS, considering all of the issue with staffing at FSI
