I'd love to hear some feedback on Lisbon / Portugal. It's the only country on that continent I haven't spent time in. I'm guessing there isn't enough traffic there for us, but Lisbon 80 years ago was a large center of commerce and an important internationally neutral ground.
I'm not going until October, 2014. We are planning a cruise and it departs from LIS. I imagine we would spend two or three days there as back up departure insurance. The closest I can get on DAL is to go through MAD and take the sleeper train to LIS. AF and KLM are options, too. United has a 757 non-stop out of EWR. TAP serves most of Europe and I can ZED from BRU, FRA or LHR if necessary.

I will provide an after action report.

you can put your zipcode in there as well. When you look at it you realize where the money is.
Alright I know we're not supposed to advertise here on APC, but this product is right up our alley.

Of all the places in Europe, it is the last place I would go. Honestly, I will never go back. Rampant drug use/sales, no cool bars, wicked liberals everywhere. Italian food is good there, and Porto is better than lisboa.

So, its like a mix of Amsterdam, South Boston, Paris and Northern Italy?
Quote: YES!! Geeta. They own the Indian place in Narita City but Geeta is better in my opinion.

Last month I did a taste test for Gyoza. The factors were friendliness of restaurant, quality of food and value. Here are my rankings for GYOZA in Narita:
1) Spiral Staircase (Cafe Bon)-All u can eat, delicious
2) Radisson Sports Bar (Super Star)-10 pieces but cheap
3) Green Awning- Kind of fed-up attitude, expensive and small portion

Thanks.

Thank you.

Dude... serious points for knowing the real name for the spiral staircase. And you are right.. that is the best for gyoza.

No question about it. I don't know what's better, the Gyoza...or the fact that they'll just keep bringing you more.

Quote: Well if it had strippers, then you'd really pack 'em in.

When you go in, give them the password and they will take you to the back room. Ferd is in charge. Stripper paradise.

Plus if you have room, the warm pancake and ice-cream. But seriously, I had the Large Drink Set which was a Rum and Diet Coke that reminded me of the way I use to pour a drink in College Holy $%$#, it was 40oz of rum with .5oz of Diet coke. Great place!!

I love NRT because of GEETA and BON!

How do I purchase a full fare DAL ticket, discounted for employees? Is it worth it or can I buy cheaper on web-sites? Thanks.

DONT DO IT!!!!! I posted a response to this months ago with a long explanation, don't feel like typing it again... suffice to say the "Fly for Less" and "Fly for Even Less" are complete ripoffs, if something happens you can't work with normal customer service for a refund. I had my non-rev privileges threatened for disagreeing with the 5 second answer I was given when trying to get a refund--they wouldn't even look up the ticket code to confirm that it WAS refundable, they just disagreed and then threatened me when I pressed them to look it up.

You can find normal Delta tickets online for less, also.
DO NOT USE THE EMPLOYEE "FLY FOR LESS"!!!!!
