Why not just go to a good regional where you will have more time off, make more money, and position yourself for a career job?

At this point a regional might be my top choice! Plus they are the only ones who respond in a reasonable time. Plus it would be good training, an atp and check the 121 box. I was just hoping to continue my current 15on/off type schedule to travel more while I'm young! I've been going somewhere every shift off.
Thanks for the input.

Have you considered Delta Private Jets? Its 8/6 or 15/13 same type of flying as TMC, home basing etc..

And the same type of BS as Segrave, *ahem*, DPJ. Go 121 and save yourself the grief being a servant to the entitled class.

From my observations in various crew rooms, DPJ would be a step down from TMC. I've really heard zero positive, and they're non Union.

As someone who just went 121, there's a lot to be said to this. I've heard "Thank You" more in the past 3 months than in the previous 12 years.

Maybe my standards aren't that high, but aside from the pay(which we all know needs to come up like everyone else) it's not too shabby soo far. The crews are good people from what I've seen, we get PTO time, and Mgmt in place now "seems" to be trying to make QOL a point.
Coming from some of the RW operators I've worked for, this is a cakewalk. Plus I don't have to move and/or commute.

I 100% agree. 121 is by far a much better job/career than a servant for the wealthy. Net jets may be the only company that pays enough to tolerate that BS. The flying public at a major airline is much more respectful than the .1%.... I will never go back. I know thank yous don't pay bills but it makes you feel a little better.

Not blasting on you at all, but this is kind of a textbook example of the culture. For a lot of guys, this has been a serious increase in QOL from the 24/7 91/134.5 places they have come come from,so management knows there will be little resistance and they can get away with it. In reality, when competitors are paying crews 2x what others are, that rate becomes the standard which you should expect for doing the exact same job.
