I can't imagine them renewing awac's contract. They are too expensive and cancel way too much. Plus psa/pdt will do it for cheaper. If they do decide to keep awac around it will be with major concessions...just my 2 cents

Quote: Well PSA and PDT are supposed to double in size, while AWAC is supposed to die off soon....so actually no I don't see a trend. This isn't 2007. If Parker wants AWAC to no longer fly for AAG, he better start taking some of our 500 departures/day soon. Not saying it won't happen.

I'm sure PSA has excellent instructors. I think it is more with the applicants they are getting, than the quality of the training department. It's only going to get harder from here on out...when you have new-hires attempting to upgrade in a year, when in reality they should be in the right-seat for at least three years.
You said you're flying to TYS for the first time in 4 years at AWAC. I'm saying aircraft routing an AWAC plane or someone other than PSA to a PSA base has always happened. It's not related to PSA growing or whatever the implication was. That's all.

Quote: Good Luck.... I know during a Crew News someone ask Parker about the AirWisconsin Contract. His response was, "If I could, I would've already ripped it up yesterday."

I'm sure he'll fax a number to fly for American and it will be right in line with PSA, and Piedmont. He's ( DOESNT NEED) to pay more when he has the WO'ed Airlines (WHO AGREED) to do it cheaper. FUBAR

Latest thing I have heard is that the fee for departure that is currently in place is going to be cut in half and any delays caused by the company (FC, MTC, on-time performance, Etc.) will result in a financial penalty for AWAC. This is probably the best offer they are going to get from Parker and his boys. Concerning the painting of the planes. AWAC is last on the list which means they won't get painted anytime soon if ever. Its no secret that Parker wants nothing to do with AWAC anymore. The only way I believe they will stay on long term with American is if there is a big drop in costs (FFD), something along the line of a Mesa, PSA, PDT type thing. Its a shame cause they have recently started to run a good operation but I fear it may be a little to late.

Like I told you before Seneca all you Republic People knew what you were getting to when you took the job. Worst work rules in the industry. Worst health insurance plan in the industry. All because you felt that it would be nice to fly a shiny E-Jet. You can post all you want Seneca but you guys are just as much or even more the problem then Piedmont.

Get a contract then come talk to me! And get a contract that's better then our TA. Then I'll listen to your trash talk. Until then it's all like blah blah blah blah blah.........

PDT is getting 30 E145s starting next year and from what I have heard they will be replacing AWAC in PHL and CLT just with less frequency as some markets shift to larger RJs and some mainline. Hopefully AWAC can find a place for some of the CRJs but in this current market that might be pretty tough.

Oh we are working on it, have been working on it. Difference is we haven't given up like you. Call me all the names you want, the facts stand for themselves and you guys caved. We all know it and watching your constant degrading of the RAH pilot group to deflect your shame is actually becoming quite comical.

You seem all too happy to have the 145s transferred to you from envoy.

Dude you gave up when you took the job there. You knew the pay and workrules and insurance cost didn't you? Why did you go there when a bunch of other regionals with better work rules and pay were hiring? What part of that don't you get?

I'm not going to argue with you. You've been working on it for 7 years! Seven?? Really..... Please!!!
