I suspect attrition will go up more and more now that UAL has those new pay rates, and DAL will probably pass them.

Mostly UAL, some AA/DL off the street hires. We do have a good number of guys who have recall rights for AA and have to make the final decision this year. I'd take a WAG and say we have about 40-60 guys who have numbers, but it's anyone's guess how many will go back.

I have a good friend who intended to be a Blue guy for life, but left as one of the few AA OTS hires after he took a close look at the long-term career progression options at both places. 2011 hire, E190. Of the FOs I've been flying with, guys with local ties to NE/BOS seem to be staying put, while guys 35 and younger seem who commute seem to have their apps out to all the big three. Most all enjoy it here (except when I tell them not to clean, TIC), but the career metrics are pretty hard to ignore if you're young, junior, and commuting to one of our bases. Even BOS 320 FO is becoming somewhat stagnant progression-wise; lots of 2-year 190 guys jumping over and the top 60 or so mostly live in base and aren't upgrading until they can hold a decent line as 320 CAs. The 320 RSV grid for BOS CAs is much thinner than it was most of January and December though, so maybe there's some hope for upgrades on the March bid.

good point about notams and Wsi and checking everything every leg. It's too easy to just go "oh it's all good" after reading the first two pages of the release when you're on a turn. I think that's why it's important to say that you only help other people in their job if you have enough to time to do yours. We'd be upset if the ground crew helped clean the plane but didn't have the bags loaded and plane serviced on time.

I added my girlfriend as a travel companion. Her code is ZPA in MyIDTravel. I've tried a few random airlines and I seem to always get this "At least one of the selected passenger is not eligible to travel on this airline." Are these "Zedfares", by the way? Or, is there some other website I need to book international flights for her on?

Most ZED agreements do not allow travel companions. I doubt you'll even find one. It has to be domestic partner, wife, kids, parents.

Those are ZedFares, and MyIdtravel is the only place we have to book them. The travel/benefits tab of hellojetblue has a list of all our Zed agreements and whom is eligible for each one. I don't know, but suspect, that many of the international carriers may not extend benefits to your registered companion.
