They are filling three classes of 12, one class in Sept-Oct-Nov. The difference between being hired in the first class vs the second or third will be significant considering the fact that we will open an east coast base that few Denver based folks want to bid. This will more than likely result in a displacement award and 12 positions in a small pilot domicile is huge. Everyone that is hired needs to be prepared to be based on the East coast. You may not end up there but the chances are pretty high.

Don't stress about being part of the first group. Frontier pilots hire frontier pilots and they will enjoy seeing the real you versus someone that has memorized a "gouge".

Quote: Nice try but not true. There were 2 companies in the bidding process for F9. RAH and WN were both interested. If RAH would have dropped out WN would have aquired F9. No need to debate which would have been a better option for the different employee groups, been there and done that. Just the facts Right Seat Dude.
Im surprised you still pass your medical cause you are more delusional than Anthony Weiners wife. WN had a billion dollars in unrestricted cash when they were in the auction with RP. RP didn't beat them out. They came in, looked at F9's books and financial and laughed. They pulled out of the auction figuring they could surpass F9 in their own home turf without even breaking a sweat. Oh wait....they already did that long time ago.

Are any of you current F9 pilots worried about turning into the next Spirit? Looking at the Spirit QOL threads it seems like the pilots are generally happy, but it seems like being an ultra low-cost carrier like that would eventually start wearing on you. Spirit leads the industry in customer complaints. Those complaints no doubt get directed to the gate agents and flight attendants constantly. Which, you would figure, leads to gate agents and flight attendants having poor attitudes (who wouldn't be that way if you're constantly getting yelled at all the time?). And then these poor attitudes (while not being directed toward the pilots) become part of the everyday work environment.

Does anyone have concerns about that? Or am I just being overly negative?
