PSA is great. Not even 6 months into our new contract did Airways/PSA come to us for concessions and threaten to close us down unless we vote Yes to it. Remind me what sacrifices the scheduling dept, dispatch, maint, HR.... took to keep PSA alive?
Now even 8 months after we signed the contract we still cannot get the company to honor the effective dates of the agreement.
The scheduling dept has called the pilots the enemy and needs to do whatever it takes to staff the airplanes. Legal or not.
I guess if you work in HR or at the head office the 9-5 job in Dayton would be a good gig.

If your a building time and expect to have 1500/50 in 90 days, apply and interview so you can have everything in place to start class as soon as you hit the numbers. Seniority is everything for a pilot!

If you have and questions feel free to ask. PSA is a great place to work and provides career opportunities at mainline American/US Airways.

30 addition aircraft start arriving in June.
Wow, if I didn't know any better I would say that you are a recruiter. PSA sold out the regional industry (well 60% did) for 30 new jets. They have pay caps at 4 years for an FO and 12 years for a CA. The only other regional that has that is Endeavor. They have increased medical costs and decreased per diem. That amazing "career opportunity" is an interview (not a flow) with American and if you don't pass the interview on your second attempt, your pay is frozen at your current rate. I wouldn't even remotely consider PSA unless I lived in CLT, TYS, or DAY.

If you have your ATP, you are a valuable commodity these days and essentially have the regional/national world at your feet. If you are willing to relocate, I would suggest going to a regional/national with a better reputation, fleet and overall package. PSA, especially recently, doesn't particularly have a good reputation in the industry. SkyWest seems to have one of the better reputations out there.

The best management team that threatens to shut your company down if you don't sign by the "X".

"PSAJOBS" it should say enough that PSA recruitment department needs to join an online forum.

@ PSAJOBS typically when management wants to troll on these boards spreading propaganda they're a little more discrete.

If you have ATP minimums your better off going anywhere besides PSA, you can and will get hired anywhere else, your only excuse is if you live in one of their crew bases, and even that's not really a good reason in my opinion.

Amatuer hour.

Nice grammar, tool!

Quote: Wow, you folks must be desperate. This is the first thing you do on a Monday morning when you get back to your cubicle? The "best management team in the industry" made me fall over laughing. Way to toot your own horn! Is this Peoplemover90? Anyone with any sort of intelligence should think twice before going to PSA. They are clearly preying on the naive.
What credible PILOT comes to this forum, picks the handle "PSAJOBS" and then does nothing in his first few posts but try to recruit ?

Answer : None.

I mean come on. Someone would have to be a drooling idiot to not see what this is. It's a PSA management lackey throwing mud on the wall here in the hope some of it sticks. I'm sure all kinds of rosy promises will be made regional airline management style to boot.

Despite being totally pathetic, it IS quite funny !

I would like to be the first to say thank you to PSA. The PSAJOBS posts made me lol for a good 10 minutes before work. If it's a troll then 10/10....but if its really the PSA recruiting department then you just brightened my day. Thanks boys.

I have never worked at another regional but I will tell you that this is the best group of people I have ever worked with.

PSA is the industry leader in safety. It's the only regional airline that has an FAA validated Safety Management System.

PSA contributes to your 401K even if you don't. If you do, the matching is pretty impressive.

Excellent health insurance options.

30 new airplanes coming with the possibility of 40 more.

Wholly owned by American Airlines Group which is run by the (in my opinion) best management team in the industry. Being wholly owned also gives PSA pilots career opportunities that independent airline pilots don't get.

Crew bases in CLT, TYS and DAY. Not bad places to chose from.

The bottom line is you need to pick the airline that best fits what your goals are. PSA is a great choice for many and a great place to work.
"So come on over....we need more yes voters to screw this industry a little more when Parker gives us Eagle's CRJs when they vote no....if we're lucky we'll have you to flying them for Great Lakes wages."

PSA is a garbage, bottom feeding airline. It represents the absolute worse of the regional airline industry.

No one in their right mind should ever go work for this company. There are so many better options out there.

Have a little self respect and work for a place that doesn't have the worst contract.
