Article 14 pg 10:
b. Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance (A.D.& D.)
(i) Benefit equal to four times each Pilot’s current basic annual
earnings, then rounded to the next higher $1,000, to a maximum
of $1,000.000

Yes that is $1,000.000 (1) Thousand dollars that should cover the hassle of them calling the spouse to say hey your loved one is dead please come collect him/her. Copied exactly from the on-line contract. Do you think they did this by mistake? I am hoping the old contract doesn't have the same.

Pilots now service and load the aircraft too. Since I have never run into a Republic under wing service in my time in the regionals. I am assuming they contract all their ground service. I hope for these guys this definition never gets put into play otherwise you will be loading bags and servicing lavs. This industry does not need to go lower. Did you have this in your old contract? Guys read your contract. I read just the definitions and compensation and family protections and was disgusted. The fine print will burn you or your family in this case. I think every regional pilot would agree this is in the wrong direction why put this in a new contract?

Duty – Any task that a flightcrew member performs as required by the Company, including but not limited to FDP, flight Duty, pre- and post-flight duties, administrative work, Training, deadhead transportation, aircraft positioning on the ground, aircraft

That will drop with a new contract. I think someone is getting nervous about more of envoys FO's leaving if someone has something TANGIBLE to offer like more money and a quick upgrade instead of a flow pipe

Did you not know PDT has about a year upgrade?? Captain's at Mesa are coming to PDT and he said more are following.

AWAC has the best pay and best contract and they're having to troll a Saab Turbo Prop outfit for new hires.

Express jet has just as long an upgrade as envoy.

Also awac might have hit sooner than 2008 but it's only a few people.

The upgrade time is based off the most recent vacancy. All the pilots hired between 2012-14 are included. Uncertainty here is an absolute reality, but if this passes (in one form or another), people will come here. We have 53 more united aircraft arriving over the next 2 years and another 10 for delta. There are only 16 Q,s left to be retired. The upgrade will drop as people come in the door. I stand by my argument, people will come for the money and the upgrade. Both should be a reality soon.

They also have 1 CPA that is set two expire very soon, and fly equipment most likely to be retired. Nothing against those guys, they are a solid operator with great pay, but those are the reasons they have had a tougher time recruiting. What's the latest on those 145's billy???

"come for the upgrade, stay because your career has been ruined by a suspension or checkride bust for exercising good judgement".

While I agree it just goes to show that money isn't everything. 145's are on time, but it won't stop there. They are beefing up for 175's also. I'll be long gone but 175's will be a stop for PDT and I think it will happen a ton sooner then many think.
