I bet that cost a pretty quarter.

Quote: How does the crew room in JFK compare to LGA? How about DTW?
The JFK crew room is the newest most modern crew room of them all and also my personal favorite. The Lga crew room is a complete joke. It's about the size of a walk-in closet. 😳

Quote: Thanks for your concern. That was a bad move that hurt a lot of the pilot group. I'm not sure why the union thought it was a good thing to do?
Again how did it hurt anyone? So they made you pay the money? Or are you entitled to that money since someone else got it?

It was garbage only some of the downgrades were covered, it was garbage that the long suffering FO's that never upgraded (and never even had the chance) were doing the same job for less then half the pay. Then again picking and choosing when to follow the Bloch quotas was garbage too.
It was awfully convenient that the vast majority of the LOA 50 winners were the Pinnacle pilots that were setting up a lawsuit to sue ALPA and Colgan pilots that had already hit the jackpot several times over.

Are you really that blind that you can't see it? And why do you fee that it's okay for ALPA to give a small group of pilots special treatment?

I think it's just a way to get select folks back into the 900 right away after Bloch dies later this year. Protect the few, eff the rest.

Every major is hiring.

True, but what I hear you saying is that the union shouldn't be held accountable for B.S. letters of agreement? Never once, just like this new LOA, did they reach out and find out how the majority felt. They just went and did it. These LOA's should benefit the majority not just a select few. Kinda like when they were entertaining hiring bonuses. The MEC heard opposition from the pilot group, and decided that all pilots on property should receive the same compensation. So in the end, hiring bonuses were not offered.

No, what I am saying is that your union leadership is only as strong as your pilot group. I'm not saying what they did was the right answer but it probably helped the bleeding at the time with respect to attrition. Which in turn helped all of us and probably equated to keeping a few more 200's on property. The majority of those LOA's passed during that time was the company throwing noodles at a wall to see what stuck. If it helped the company and all/part of the pilot group then it passed. It didn't hurt anyone. It just wasn't fair.
