Regardless of what might be published on other forums, APC members are not allowed to post such information here. Thanks.

FYI: There are multiple posts (on other social media) where OO Captains have given jump seats, or even just checked the boarding area to ensure anyone trying to jumpseat was getting on.

They're sharing those names too.

They most certainly are. Professional Crews are being recognized directly with the highest levels of ALPA and flight operations at U. That request came directly from ALPA and Flight Operations I understand.

Yes and we're forwarding those name to our respective Chief Pilots.

Back in the day when SkyWest had 200 pilots, my record was 7 jumpseaters on a 19 seat Metro from SAN-LAX.
We would never dream of denying unless the FAA directly said you are prohibited.
Now I see guys gloating on internet forums how they're denying innocent fellow pilots, probably trying to get home to their families,
who, by the way, are still carrying them on UAL jumpseats even without an agreement.
Camaraderie, professional courtesy, look how sadly things have changed…..

Your dirt to them my friend. They perceive you as having something they want, they don't need to ask your permission to take it.

Good to know, didn't realize SkyWest pilots see UAL pilots as dirt.
Thought this was a jumpseat issue but you've opened my eyes.
How do you see UAL pilots?

If anyone thinks APC is anything close to “reality” you need really ask yourself why you are on this forum... how may UA pilot do you think are on APC. Same for OO?? Maybe 2-5% of the group...

Probably smaller percentage than that, I know, needed to put a smiley in for the sarcasm
Lots of newhires coming in from SkyWest and 99% I've flown with have been great and not carrying negative baggage.
Current estimate is 450+ retirements from now through 2020 plus more growth, so lots of hiring going forward.

That's good Intel to have.
