SLC has a number of pilots wanting to transfer in. It could be a while.

Thanks for the info. I'm assuming it takes 1 year to hold reserve in SLC?

I'm thinking of applying and live in SLC. Based off numbers today It would take at least a year possibly two years to make it back to SLC?

I think some of the dates of hire are skewed because of the cadet program deal.

It's hard to say. It all depends on how many FOs in SLC upgrade/transfer, etc. SLC as a domicile has been getting smaller over the past 3 years. Hopefully it wont shrink anymore. There are currently about 30 pilots with it as there first choice in a transfer.

So you've been around long enough to realize this means nothing in a senority based system?

Not exactly my point. I understand the system. I have been around long enough not to commute. I am willing to forgo the Skywest if I can't get SFO pretty much out of the box or by the end of training. Like it was said in The movie "Chinatown" "Relax, Jake, it's just Chinatown" - edit "a regional" for Chinatown.

What does
FO in SFO 11/20/2014 5 months, mean? That's the last hire awarded SFO? Nothing since?

I guess so, I think the info is dated by about a month.

*protip gramps*

Honestly, at this point, if you plan on trying to pull this off it might be wise to just edit your posts and keep your yhap shut. From the background you just described its not that hard to ID you.
