Is 303 in reference to a Cessna Crusader?

When CS calls you on an off day (line holder), will they ever allow you to drop a portion of an awarded trip in negotiation for a junior man assignment?
Ie, I can cover this trip on the 15th, but I need to drop day 4 on the 26th in exchange...

They will. I have covered stand ups and they covered my flying the next day and pay protected me.

What?!! I'm pretty sure CCB will be in here soon to tell you how evil CS is and how they are all Dixie Dropouts and something about cornholes.

Oh there are some really dumb things that go on in screw support but it is from the managers. I had a trip a few months back that they adjusted to 10 hours of rest in base, and when I called to let them know that it did not provide 8 hours of rest they said they don't have to give you that.

It would have only been 30 more minutes, but since they refused I could not legally accept the flight.

Yeah, that's right bring out the broad brush. The people answering the phone in SS, DX and/or any other department are just doing their jobs, sometimes good or badly. Training and experience usually dictate the result. I will say that leadership dictates the tone and policy as to how the line folks operate. That being said A.S's policies as to how SS deals with flight crews, causes plenty of grief for the crews and pain for the SS folks who have to provide the voice to voice answers. The Dixie Dropouts comment might come into play, when a SS member tells me personally "your crew rest started when we booked the hotel room" I said "no that's not how it reads and as such we will be showing at this time" and said have a nice evening. That exchange was illustrative of a lack of training/understanding of 117, for which I blame SGU management, not the player. Feel free to spin this however you like.

If it's significantly to their benefit. If it's a wash, they'll probably say no just because. Doesn't hurt to try.

It was more prevalent in IAH because it's a product of how many call signs mainline assign to a particular regional, not because they fly from St. John Canada to Ciudad Del Carmen Mexico. But I'm sure it was not some sort of ego that compelled you to post about flying between Alaska and mexico even though it will never be for a specific carrier, aircraft, or even the same call sign.

Must be some of the kool air swirling inside that made you post that.

Does ExpressJet sound like Southwest, or does SkyWest sound like Southwest? That's just the tip of the iceberg. Add in United flights like the following: 6204 BFL/DEN and 6204 DEN/CPR on two different aircraft and flow by two different crews. You have to make sure neither of these flights is in ZDV airspace at the same time, or you change one of the call signs by stub amending it. Your question has been answered. And sorry to kill your ego, but you no longer do more flight segments than SkyWest.
