Well that's all on him then. In this case the offline commuter, who showed up early and listed first, was bumped by the company DH. And that commuting pilot was myself. That's one more night I couldn't get home to my wife and had to drop some coin on a hotel because someone was afraid to say no to the gate agent.

I commute on SKW 90% of the time, and I've been left at the gate three times over the past year when I should have gotten on. Some of your CAs need to grow a pair instead of letting the gate agents walk all over them. There's no excuse for that garbage!

I'm saying that even if you don't see any commuters, one may show up at the last minute and bump you off the JS.

Tinman -
That is unsat. Write your j/s committee. We have to reign those dudes in because a lot of us commute.
I'm sorry on behalf of those captains.

I did, but I'm not sure what the union can do since SKW is non union.

Revenue, I was talking about getting non-revs on. I was also talking about having the Capt. onboard with the plan. Who, if he had a spine (is that not how it goes down at XJ?) could fix it in a jiffy.

We have a J/S committee that will be interested nonetheless.

We also have things like HIMS as a non Union carrier.

So we’re at a bit of a crossroads. We have the opportunity to take the next important step forward. Or we can place ourselves in a holding pattern.

More than you think, for instance revoke JS agreement by having captains allow everyone BUT Skywest pilots on their jumpseat.
