Sounds like you're trying to blame us for the mainline business model of using regionals...very few people choose to be regional pilots. We are at the very least above par. Whilst I agree all flying should be done by mainline this is what the business model is today and most likely wont ever change, so all Alaska as a business can do is use regionals or they wont be able to compete.
Congrats on the additional Alaska flying. You earned it by continuing to work under subpar pay, benefit and work rules. I know what you are thinking, you're better than gojet (or who ever). But the real toast goes to Alaska pilots. The additional flying is due to their impotence.

The "additional" 175s are replacements for the 700s that are being flown for Alaska.
But say whatever makes you feel better.

I use to fly those CRJs for Horizon. Skywest was given 9 of them. The current plan is for 16 E175s. That is growth.

Now you're calling it growth. Earlier you said it was not. Anyways, the CRJ tails are 215AG, 216AG, 217AG, 218AG, 219AG, 223AG, 224AG, 225AG and 227AG. That is 9 aircraft. Feel free to look it up. I believe the options are 16 175s.
