I don't blame you for the business model, I blame you for enabling it. Like I said, congrats, you earned it.

Wouldn't your second sentence apply to any regional that is awarded new flying contracts?

It isn't new flying, it is replacing someone else. It is only new to you. This flying should still be at mainline.

Congrats on sounding stupid.

The "additional" 175s are replacements for the 700s that are being flown for Alaska.

But say whatever makes you feel better.

I use to fly those CRJs for Horizon. Skywest was given 9 of them. The current plan is for 16 E175s. That is growth.

2/3 of our flying was our own branded operation. We advertised and sold our own seats. The CRJs replaced our F-28 that we flew since the early 80s. PDX-AUS is mainline.

FTFY. 7 were growth. 8 replacement. Wouldn't be surprised to see more than 20 175s for Alaska. And Alaska will need them to compete against Delta.

You're welcome.

Now you're calling it growth. Earlier you said it was not. Anyways, the CRJ tails are 215AG, 216AG, 217AG, 218AG, 219AG, 223AG, 224AG, 225AG and 227AG. That is 9 aircraft. Feel free to look it up. I believe the options are 16 175s.

If it is, the Alaska route map isn't showing it.
