Skywest
That was our own branded flight. We advertised and sold our own seats. The airline business model is broken and has been. At some point you can join the rest if us and try to make our profession a better one. Until then, the amount of people willing to do this will continue to dwindle.
But that was too far a distance to be a "regional" flight....You are really reaching. I understand your frustration. I'm sure you felt the same way when Comair was replaced. Seriously though, you are part of the very problem you now complain about. Give it a rest....

Depends. You're not really defining what a regional distance is. And even if you did, it would be historical (as any definition is).
Looks like we fly the 175 for United from SFO to STL. That's 1735 miles.

It was greedy senior mainline pilots who sold scope to keep their pay and retirement high while screwing everyone behind them. There is plenty of blame to go around. Mainline pilots, ALPA, APA, and all of us who took these jobs simply as a way to get to the mainline. Quit pointing fingers and look in the mirror.

Nope. They "retired" our branded operation. Made us easier to be replaced. I do blame the Major pilots for the outsourcing. But skywest has done the least to reverse the trend. I hope all the regionals go under, including skywest and horizon. It is only a matter of time.
After reading TheTransporters post, I'm glad I don't have to fly with Horizon crews! What a TOOL!

How about now? Who is holding a gun to your head right now to do CPA flying?
