Yeah, probably not while the colgan families are still kicking.

Hopefully not while I'm still at SKW. But yes, eventually.

Right now, a lot of low/mid seniority major pilots are stilling stinging from the lost decade. So probably not much scope relief in the near future. Besides, how would they staff it?

Could be a good thing if the structure is pretty airtight. I don't object to dues paying in exchange for a clearly defined reward down the line. But too many guys paid dues for 15 years only to watch their barely-off-probation FO's get hired by legacies.

What are the junior bases for new hire pilots? How long does it take to move to another base after you bid for it?

Hey hows that new pay package coming? How about a suggestion for it. Instead of a sh@thouse healthcare which costs me 2300$ in case I need something done (deductible) how about a real health care plan which has no deductible and does not break my rocks when I need to just go for a checkup and fork over 150$. Granted it wouldnt be that bad if I was gonna be getting paid 30$ an hour but thats gone so.

Mines $1300 ....don't be cheap...also you accepted the job so you accepted the payrate for what it is, chances are it will increase before long for first years.

ORD,SFO,DEN,PDX,SEA are all 175 bases (in approximate order of increasing seniority i.e. word most junior sea/pdx most senior)

Congrats on the additional Alaska flying. You earned it by continuing to work under subpar pay, benefit and work rules. I know what you are thinking, you're better than gojet (or who ever). But the real toast goes to Alaska pilots. The additional flying is due to their impotence.
