Quote: All but 227AG are air group property operated by skywest. The QX tails flying under other airline CPAs were sold off, but the remaining AG tails with Alaska paint are not owned or leased by skywest. Feel free to look it up.
Some of the QX tails still say Horizon on the cert. They fly for DL.
Quote: Uflymic. But otherwise you will need to say everything twice to me while holding the mic closer to your mouth.
This is true, I can't wait until they all disappear. Just get a real Bose to fly with and a QC for the commute/pleasure.
No better combo then two Bose aviation headsets plugged in.

The FAA registry says otherwise.

Except it's twice as much and is no better than the QC15/ufly setup.

I would not count on it any time soon. It's the most popular headset that I have seen now. The new mic is even better

Have you been reading what others have been posting?
For what it is worth I've heard controllers hate them too, I don't know if we have any around to confirm, or if they even know why some are quiet.
I had no clue the users could adjust the mic levels, that would fix the issue right there

Telex and ear plugs, what a combo. Haha
I'm not going to say it's a bad headset when it's most likely operator error. The 175 used to bother the heck out of me too... it seems like everyone is a mouth breather in that plane until you adjust the inter phone down. I'm guessing those are the culprits leading to the bad rap.
We never had any problems back when everyone used David Clamps, then again we were probably all deaf from 8 leg days flying prop trash around lol.

You're probably right, it must have been an AG bird.
What's AAG's plan for those 700's after they get replaced by 175's?
I am given the option to choose between the ERJ and CRJ. What should I go for? I am pretty flexible so I just really wanna go for the one that gives me more flight time faster. I understand that the CRJ has more bases and flight benefits, but in terms of getting a line quicker, more flight time, and faster movement on the seniority list, what do you think is best? Anyone knows if skywest will get more 175s in the near future?
