I think your right. Cola is needed. Back pay would be nice...But won't happen now.. Lets be reaistic. This is a huge step in the right direction.. We need ro take that first step. The second will come in 3years when this TA is up.. If we dont take this first step. I dont think will be taking any for 1-2 years... Im going with Yes..
And I'll tell you what will happen in three years. Will get another ****ty pay package 6-9 months after this one expires.
People we're saying if we voted down the first package we wouldn't see another one for a long time either.
This one will pass though. They only need 50% +1. Anything more and management will feel they gave away too much. They aren't going to make a large majority happy.
And regardless of what happens with pay we will be a smaller airline in 5 years.
Wow just wow yup this is easily going to pass and your paycheck won't look any different than it looks now.

Asa, horizon, air Wisconsin, and Skywest have a 1:2 duty rig. Air Wisconsin, horizon, and peidmont have a trip rig of 1:4.
The key to these rigs, other than the ratio itself, is getting them to be actual or scheduled, whichever is higher.
Lol. Are you by chance on first year pay. It took 3 months from the last vote to get this one done. Company is anxious to raise first year pay. I'm not sure which way I'm voting yet, but I'm not worried about getting stuck with the current deal. It's heading the right direction, but I think we can do better.
Every regional is feeling the pilot shortage. That is why most of them are offering some kind of signing and or retention bonus. And every new TA has some sort of carrot to entice new hires. The regionals without good first year pay will suffer the most. That is leverage for pilots that won't be going away.

For a airline that has been loosing 20-40 pilots a month for a year we have grown by 300 pilots.. And still short!!!

How big is PHX as a base, or how easy is it to get? I thought I read somewhere that PHX was shrinking but that may be Mesa I'm thinking about.

The 900s in PHX are going away. The 200s in PHX are being parked and a similar number of 200s from LAX are being transferred there. This all starts in a couple of months. I'm not sure of the totals or how it will effect the domicile size at PHX or LAX.

Single list?
Saw this is the expressjet thread:
"Got the TA survey phone call today. Only interesting question. 1 to 5 how important is a single seniority list with Skywest? I told the guy I didn't even know that was on the table."
Is this even possible and what would that mean for a new hire if that went through? Number 6,000 then? That would be a deterrent.
