That and as one of the sim instructors mentioned, many of the students, English is their second or third language. I had a new hire in the jump seat recently, honestly could not understand anything they said.

English proficient?

My friend was in the August class. Also says the guys who struggled were language and lack of effort. One guy failed systems and limitations. But they tried to retrain him. I think he failed multiple times though. Other didn't bother to study flows by the time they made it to ftd. I also heard there was a guy with a similar background as yours the struggled going in to the CRJ with less automation but they worked with him and he got through just fine. I wouldn't worry about it man. Sounds like the people who actually were let go, were under legit circumstances.

On another note, has anyone heard of someone not getting the job offer in the last few months?

Everyone gets their panties all in a not about training failures.

The training failures are purely a result of lowered hiring standards introduced after CE was fired-ermm "resigned."

Now there are 0 technical requirements to get hired. People who would previously have been screened out due to lack of skill are being hired. Of course training failures have gone up.

Don't sweat it. The training department is by far one of the best. If you put the effort in you will be just fine.

I was told in the debrief not to tell everyone I got an offer. Not everyone there got the nod that day and they wanted those who did to be discreet.

ouch!

Does anyone know if SKW would pay out contracts from previous employers if you're hired?

Attrition? Since June my average month seniority rise has slowed by a factor of about 30% of what it used to be. Guys are leaving, but not out of the top like they were. Hopefully it will pick back up again. Nothing like a bored winter to get guys to fill out apps.
