Works the same with the night flights, they want the regional aircraft moving people out of the hub into outstations at night so they can leave their planes at the hub.
*** are you talking about? Yes congratulations that is how regionals work, everyone knows that.

They only need that many seats for the first couple days. By week 2 the 108 will be down to a manageable 70-80. Lost 6 or 7 out of TRG last week alone.

6 or 7 in a week? To other airlines, or are that many guys washing out?

We lost 1 guy in training. Went to Frontier. Amazingly enough, 15 months later, nearly my entire new hire class is still at OO.

Not sure. I just compare seniority lists each Friday and the last one had a bunch of people listed as TRG. From what I can tell 5 from the 9/28 class and 2 from 10/26. According to my numbers we lost 14 out of the 62 hires for the 9/28 class so far. (almost 25%)

I'm sure you can find one big difference between when you and I were hired and what's happening today. I'm just glad we are trying to get ahead of the attrition but I don't think we will win that battle.

Q for the commuters here.
How many flights do you give yourself to get to work on time?
Say weather is fine.
2? 3? 1?

I usually give my self twoflights. Where I live there are 3 flights that get into my base early in the day. On Saturdays I usually give myself 1 flight as the schedule on Delta is so reduced. I have never had any commuting issues since I have been here.

Some of those are likely no-shows/military guys who got the call while in class. We are losing guys out of training, which is a good thing. I just don't think it's as bleak as you paint it. The training really isn't that hard.
