Skywest

Wow, what a tool you are. You have several SkyWest pilots telling everyone about the class starting in a month and you think you know better?
As a SkyWest pilot I can tell you we ARE hiring next month, and just so you know SkyWest has enough pilots in the pool and applications/resumes on file that the first thing they do when they decide to start up classes again is not go update their 'webpage'

FYI, people have not been hired because of things they've posted on this website. Even sent home while in new hire class. Someone in HR may detect an attitude they don't like from your post. And yes, the people that do the hiring read the forums.
The training department has already opened up the bid for July btw.

A guy that works for Republic in his 4th year told me that the word is they can't fill classes, and no one showed to a Q400 class last month. He's a great, reputable dude, too. That's just what is going around. Meanwhile, I have another friend who was rejected after what he thought was a good interview. Another source who kept in contact with his interview group said 2 out of 10 were picked.
You can hear four different things about the same situation around aviation. It is what it is, and working there doesn't always make you more privy to better information.

With that attitude I hope you're not trying to get a job at SkyWest.

Yes, Skywest is/was/whatever my first choice. No, I don't care. For the past two years they've either not been hiring or upped the mins as I reached them. I have no reason to put all my eggs in one basket and assume that I can get a job anywhere, no matter my attitude or accomplishments at a decent turbine gig with all the prior 121 guys walking around on the streets. I've heard those in charge of hiring at Skywest say that exactly about people with no turbine or 121 time. Honestly, now that it requires ATP mins, is it worth flying something like a Brasilia?

Yes a Brasilia is a great plane to get your feet wet into the 121 world and SKW would be an awesome place to start at.

Just from reading through your previous posts it's pretty easy to figure out where you currently work, what college you went to and your name. Nothing posted online is ever private. I'm not sure why you would want to go around threatening employees or your potential interviewers on a public forum when they can easily figure out who you are. It could come back to bite you in a future job interview.
