JohnnyG really ****ed everybody off with his know-it-all-better-than-the-bro attitude

Just received an email stating the CRJ class scheduled for July 8th is no longer available for new hires.

There are so many guys wanting to come off the bro to the RJ they are giving all the new hires the bro and letting the transitions take the RJ class.. so there is still a bro class, it just got bigger

Hmmm, I wonder if the RJ transitions are seat locked for 1yr meaning they can't bid into the 175 when they come online next Spring?

They will be seat locked. I think most of the interest for the 175 will come from people who can stay in the same base and get a pay raise though. Personally I would have no interest commuting to (likely) reserve on 175 when I can live in base on the CRJ and probably move up in seniority quick once people start going to the 175. I don't mind taking the year seat lock.

If they really feel like they can't staff it they'll just lift the seat lock anyway though.

According to Chip they want to put some really really high fences with some barbed wire on top for the 175, to reduce training costs

If any Bro guy wants the 175 at all, i'm sure they should stay on the bro until the bid comes out for the 175

I know this opinion is unpopular but the E175 is the same class and size aircraft as the CRJ-900 which means the pay will be very close is not the same. E175 pilots will gross more but not due to a higher rate. They will make more since all their soft time will be paid at the E175 rate instead of the base CRJ rate, that’s an 8% pay increase on all soft time!

We need to get rid of the BHO (Brad Holt Override) in this next pay package!
