Our domestic partner program specifically prohibits (and by signing you certify as true) blood-related folks from being added.

Back in the day Comair got S3 priority on Delta mainline and got six S2 passes to use on mainline as well. It was great! After the merger, Comair, along with Mesaba and Compass were moved to S3C. S2 could only be used on the respective carriers. S2 passes are worthless. We already get priority on our own metal as S3. DL mainline goes S3C on us, so maybe that wonderful S2 might bump you ahead of a more senior SKW employee. Except when you so that, that said employee will just check in as S2 as well. And you just wasted your worthless S2!

Yep. In my 2.5 years here I've never used or seen the need for using the S2. Pretty worthless. When we really need to get somewhere, we just buy tickets on Southwest anyway.

Hey I am a new hire going to the Sept 30th Bro class. Have military background and wanted to get more info on schedules. Could a few current Bro pilots answer the following

1. What does it look like for a new hire to get FAT, SFO or SLC. Which of those would have the shortest reserve

2. What does a "typical" reserve schedule look like?

3. What does a "typical" line schedule look like.

Lastly how about a commute from MSP? Eventually want to get back there on the Jet, but didnt want to wait for a jet class

1. FAT
2. You get 11 days off a month. usually blocks of 4-5 days of reserve with 2-3 off in between.
3. Junior lines are usually 4 4-day trips per month, may get another local, 2-day, or standup thrown in if they need it.

MSP is a tough commute from almost anywhere I hear, but I have no first hand experience.

Welcome aboard!

@Fozz179fs
Did they say what their plans are for hiring the rest of the year? Did they spill the beans on any other planned classes?

I start class on the 2nd and when I interviewed they werent even sure if they were going to run another class in September... Anyone else have any word on this topic?

Classes to continue...1-2 a month of 20 pilots each. Only EMB newhires for now. I would guess that could change for next year...
