I've also never heard anything negative about XJT in person. I was kind of surprised to learn that they hate me. They're welcome in my jumpseat anytime.

Trust me, most people at L-XJT don't have a chip on their shoulder about Skywest. You guys are always welcome on our jumpseat and I hope that we can all work together to make things better at the regional level. A shame that a few idiots have to represent our pilot group so badly. Sorry guys!

United's 30 E175's went to another carrier, not skywest (didn't specify between Airlines and INC)

I think the small % of posters (<5% of the total pilot group?) is unfortunately speaking for the group as a whole, on both sides.
I commute on XJT almost every week. Only once, ONCE, was I treated with anything but professionalism and respect, and I still got on the flight, so it doesn't really even matter.
To all of the out-spoken anti-SKW/XJT people on here: Get a life. Perhaps, even go back to high school, I'm sure you would be really cool there. Please leave the real, professional jobs to those of us who can actually act like professionals, and treat our peers as such.

Being at IAH, I've only met the best XJT crews while in passing and on my commutes. Always been helpful to get me on. The only nasty guy I met at IAH was a L-CAL guy who was so mad that I was taking the jumpseat on XJT that he basically made a scene in the terminal.
