If it was brought up countless pages ago, my bad. Again, I really don't think those 30 United bought matter to Skywest now. They've got their own coming.

Umm, from the outside looking in, who cares? They aren't getting the 30 United bought, but they are getting the 40 they bought with options for 60 more. Did I skip a page in this thread? Who brought up assumptions that Skywest was getting the 30 United bought? And more importantly, what does it matter? Skywest is getting more than 30 now, and doing the flying for United out of ORD initially.

I just got a "tentative" class date for the 30th of September on the 120. Do they always use the word "tentative" when class is more than 2 weeks out? I was on standby for the 9/2 class hoping someone would skip but no such luck. I got hired last November right before the freeze while waiting for a class so had to do an abbreviated interview last week since it had been 10 months. Just hoping the music does not stop on me again.
Hopefully it is just standard protocol to put "tentative" in an automatically generated email from airline apps when the class is still a ways out.

Usually they say tentative until two weeks before the class. I'm sure this is so you won't put your two weeks in at your current employer until the class is 100% going to happen. Also so they can be flexible. They are always changing the classes around
