depends on the month and what I want specifically for the month. I am barely touching a line. guy below me is full reserve so I tend to bid specific pairings layers 1 and 2 and augment it later on with different things. working well so far

From talking to my friends still on the bro the brasilia lines seem to be really messed up this month. When every day of the month is a coverage date it's almost like having no coverage dates at all. Also the company has almost free reign to assign "replaced; not awarded to cover more coverage dates" trips since every day is a coverage date. I know some really senior people working Christmas with terrible lines and some really junior people with good lines and Christmas off. I think it just depends on how many people scheduling made it through massaging the lines before they got bored.

Another Bro guy here who got something decent in December, at the expense of a few vacation days... I got more into reading the nuances of the PBS documentation this month and changed my bidding strategy. I either learned something or just got lucky this time.

At my seniority (almost 4 years) its pretty even % wise. You would probably hold a line faster on the ERJ than the CRJ tho.

How long could one expect to be on reserve? And how long would it take to be based PSP or LAX?

Depends on what domicile.

I'm not certain but pretty sure people a month off IOE received LA recently. Doesent mean much, but thats the latest. PSP a long time. Might be able to sneak in after awhile. Things are going to be shifting around over the next 6 months for sure.

The 12 200's are rumored to go to the MSP system, guessing newhires will follow them as soon as they start showing up.

Thanks

I'm ready to start my 121 career and I live in the SoCal area. Just trying to figure out the best airline to limit my commute. For me I'd rather be resurve LAX than to commute to a line hours away. I have another source of income in my local area and I'm try to have some QOL, but I might be crazy.
