Why? It's just an airplane. I'd fly a Brasilia for the rest of my life and be happy with it if it paid as much as a 777. If the 175 isn't a QOL or pay improvement then I don't understand why people would bid it. That's why I won't bid it without knowing the pay.

They're doing it as a joke to protest the company opening the bid without giving us a pay scale or seat lock duration. There are also people that have bids with "only after" dates of 2036.

Yea, I see that, but some of the downgrades don't have any kind of before or after date.

Doesn't mean they have to take the class. They can decline it and just get seat locked in their current position.

What do you guys get to fly the CR7/9? I would think that same rate applies to the E175.

I like the downgrade for a date of 2054

Can the company unilaterally impose a pay rate, e.g. they could decide to pay a crj200 rate for the 175?

Not true, that was given up when we agreed to the new domicile and vacancy report way of doing things. We're no longer able to decline a class or transfer that we bid and are awarded.

Yes. No union.

It should pay 900 rate based on seats but the latest update said it should be in line with "700/900 rates" which I think kind of hints at the company wanting to pay 700 rates for it.
