Default "Hood" time on the online application?

I took this to be simulated instrument time. Can I or Should I do this? Can't for the life of me ever logged anything other than simulated instrument. This included un-hooded single seat practice approaches in VMC.

Un-hooded single seat practice in VMC should not count towards simulated instrument time. It's either hooded time with a safety pilot or up to (25?) hours of FTD/SIM time towards your ATP cert.

When SAPA gives the company EFB notification, everyone will be on reserve. Skywest reserve is a special corner of hell.

I've heard of flight cases, but skywest has ship sets so are those needed? Coolers, what do you recommend? where do you put your headset?
Consider the $150 TravelPro over the Kirkland. The TravelPro has way more zippered pockets to put stuff, I found the extra $50 well worth it.

Quality Flight Crew Merchandise for Airborne Professionals | The Flight Attendant Shop

This one has been reinforced well over the standard TravelPros. It's also light weight. Head and shoulders above the Kirkland. I came from the $300 Stealth, I like it more.

THIS!! ^^^^

I find it interesting that the EFB policy is on TG's desk waiting for a signature, and yet you can't find the policy anywhere on the SAPA site. Why has SAPA not asked for input on the proposed policy? Oh yeah, because it's too "hard" to get 3,000 pilots input. They act like they have to make every single person happy, and yet the EB, who hasn't flown the line in how long, thinks they know how CS will manipulate the policy. I can't wait for those that only had to sit a couple months reserve get to deal with the reflows that will happen. Let's give the company one more reason to not staff properly.

The past SAPA president was mediocre on holding the line with management, the new guy RJ is already giving away everything.

We are totally screwed!

Ok, so I'm dumb. What does EFB stand for? I've known it as electronic flight bag, but seems like it has a different meaning here. Why is EFB going to put everyone on reserve?

Because you will look at your Electronic Flight Bag and there will be a popup message saying that your schedule has just been changed.
