Does anyone know the size of the 12/30 Bro class? How quickly have new-hires on the Bro been getting lines in FAT and SF/LA? Rumor has it that they want to hire 350-400 next year. It's that to cover attrition or is that growing the list for the new airplanes, and to add to that, is that number high for Skywest based on past hiring?

Sounds reasonable given some attrition and near term growth.

Skywest has hired a lot already and my friend on reserve never flies. Are there rumors of new flying or are they being proactive for expected attrition?

Perfect! Just noticed Dec class increased from 20 to 40 so that's hopeful going forward.

They don't specify bro or RJ, VP of flight ops just said they need to raise the new hire class in Dec from 20 to 40 to keep up.

When they put you in the Candlewood for initial is a two room suite? or is it a single room with just two beds? Just curious. Two room suite is a lot better than a single room if you have to have share a hotel room.

In my very limited time on the Bro at Skywest my seniority number has increased by about 20 per month. Both CA's that did my IOE trips said that was very good movement. Most guys in my class got SFO. The last class before that was mostly FAT and the very last class was mostly FAT. So it seems they have been alternating every other class between the two. Not to many FO's want to stay at either for different reasons. The reason for this is that FAT smells and SFO costs to much. This is great for people that want to be in either base. At the current rate I should be off of reserve in SFO by Feb or Mar at the latest. If all the people that want to get out of SFO this month get their desired bases they will have to put much of the current Bro class in SFO again. Good news for those that fly out of there.

Hopefully this trend will continue.

Its feels like Christmas morning when you wake up and your number went up by 6 overnight.

It's in Klen's part of the I-share/boardroom update that posted yesterday.
