Anybody have any updates on projected newhire class dates? I believe it is currently June 2 (one just started, right?), June 30, July ??, August 25-ish, September 22. Is that info still correct? Trying to figure out my earliest exit date from my current commitment so I can pick the first class date that works for me, without me having to bother OO recruitment with that question.
Also, I assume it is all CRJ classes for now, except June 30 apparently will have an EMB-175 class?

I think you are looking at two classes so it looks like a lot.

June 30th is the only one I know for sure. You can count on there being one at the end of the month every month. It wouldn't surprise me if they pick it up to 2 per month soon. The rumor is that they want 70 new hires per month which would probably mean two classes per month. All of them are CRJ and ERJ. They're releasing seat locks on Brasilia FOs and letting them transition to the jet prior to their 1 year mark. I wouldn't expect Brasilia new hires for a while.

I was basing my post on the fact that Virginia said that they may add another class and may run multiple classes in September. July and August awards don't reflect it yet but they want 30 upgrades and 70 new hires per month starting soon supposedly.

We will really see a big difference once they get to the 2008 hires. Not a lot of hiring between then and 2010/11. I was hired early in '11, and after a year I had more pilots below me than the 2008 hires and me. Let's hope it continues!

We're these upgrades for the ERJ and CRJ only or were there any Bro upgrades planned? I only ask because it seems we are short on Brasilia Captains lately (SFO nonsense aside.)

How does class and transition work in regards to new hire class and transition class.
Say you have 15 guys who are transferring to CRJ. Are they put in same class with new hire guys going into CRJ?
Thanks

SWOL -> Operations -> Standing Bid List -> Awards will show you what was awarded.

Yes they are put in the same class as new hires. We had 5 in our class (4/28).
