Maybe that's beyond how far you want to go, but if enough people did....

Does anyone know if they are actually hiring at R-ATP minimums, I know there site says they will hire at 1000TT and 50ME with a R-ATP. I'm just curious if anyone is getting an offer with these times or do they still prefer 100ME. I am just about there on the total time and I have the 50 multi. I'm just curious if it's worth throwing in a Application. Thanks in advance.

I view this as putting a gun to your head and telling management you better change or I'll shoot myself..... Lol! Remember you're the only one vested in that immediate future.

Anyone hear any rumors about the EMB120? Seems like it's on it's way to being phased out. Reduced lines and three planes will be sent back to owners after the summer (leases up); makes me start to wonder.

No rumors, just think its a forgone conclusion. PDX base closed, they pulled the LAS-PSP/FAT flying as well as pulling out of MOD/LMT... they have become MX pigs and we could better utilize the crews.

PDX is being closed on purpose, has nothing to do with the mx reliability of the EMB. Old EMBs with too many cycles will be retired as needed. At some point they seriously are no longer viable to keep in the air. However, if some company were to go out of business that had a few EMBs (not naming names), I'm sure SkyWest would kick the tires on them.

New pass travel standby priority for employees
June 17, 2014
As Delta continues to reevaluate its pass travel program and enhance employees pass travel privileges, the airline will introduce a new travel standby priority for employees effective Oct. 1.
All active Delta employees who travel standby on SkyWest- or ExpressJet-operated flights will be listed under a higher priority code - S3B1 instead of S3C.
This enhancement will allow active Delta employees and their pass riders to board after SkyWest or ExpressJet employees and before all other Delta subsidiary employees on SkyWest- or ExpressJet-operated flights.
