New pass travel standby priority for employees
June 17, 2014

As Delta continues to reevaluate its pass travel program and enhance employees pass travel privileges, the airline will introduce a new travel standby priority for employees effective Oct. 1.

All active Delta employees who travel standby on SkyWest- or ExpressJet-operated flights will be listed under a higher priority code - S3B1 instead of S3C.

This enhancement will allow active Delta employees and their pass riders to board after SkyWest or ExpressJet employees and before all other Delta subsidiary employees on SkyWest- or ExpressJet-operated flights.

Doesn't effect OO/EV at all as long as you're on your own metal.

Does if you retired from OO/EV. Oh well makes the decision to pay Delta for another year easier.

Why? Aren't OO retirees S3B on our own metal, as are parents and dependents? S3B1 would fall underneath...

So do active OO and EV employees list ahead of DL retirees on DL mainline? Of course its not reciprical. Subcontractors get treated like dirt, but mainline never wants to take back "their" flying. They love having a caste system.

No, just like our retirees list ahead of active Delta employees on our own metal, and will continue to do so. S3B vs S3B1.

Gave them a call yesterday, they are indeed hard fast on their 50 multi. Guess I'll be scraping the barrel for FAST flights.

Someone told me they knew of a few Brasilia FOs getting on with JetBlue virgin etc... Can anyone confirm this? Sure would put an end to the "must have jet time" debate...
