Also, if NVUS is going to count the Skywest Airlines and Expressjet Airlines fleets as a single airline, then perhaps it would make sense to add the number of aircraft at wholly owned Endeavor to the Delta fleet?

Rooting for failure? I want all RJ flying to be done by mainline. I would probably be satisfied with just large RJs for now. But I wouldn't call that rooting for failure even if it costs me my job. I hope that the regional whipsaw business model is NOT sustainable! By the way, its not top pay. That's my point.
I really feel for the ASA guys who are getting the real shaft in this equation. You guys have found a way to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory and looks like a great group of guys in ATL are going to sink right along side you. It's a shame.

So you're counting deliveries that haven't even been taken yet? News flash. Skywest isn't operating those airplanes yet.
If we're going down that road, then Delta will be at 1039 when all of their scheduled deliveries show up.
As of 5/31/14 Delta mainline was operating 754 aircraft. Let's go with something more reliable than Wikipedia please.

I still maintain Crew Support has to be in there somehow, I can just smell it on him.

From what I understand is Regional Controllers are glorified Crew Schedulers, usually they start out in CS and if they do a really good job they can be promoted to Regional Controller. Which I think NVUS is. You are right.
