Your advice, isn't needed nor sought after. But thanks for playing though...You are probably one of those bags of hammers that think that flying right to the edge of the SOP and FARs is gonna save SKYW from bankruptcy. Don't worry, Chimp or MT or whoever is next in the SKYW Executive bouncy house will just move the bar so you get a bonus worthy of Mickey-Ds finest Happy Meal.
You sound like hundreds if not thousands who have gone before you in the past, some have gone on to other airlines and more than a few have left the industry because it wasn't what they thought, after their 2nd or 3rd furlough.
You think you are a unique delicate snowflake? Guess what, you are just another number in a long line of numbers.

One of the things that being here for awhile is it allows one to watch behaviors. I have watched numerous F/As troll for F/Os, because many of the Capts that aren't hooked up with F/As are wise to the scam. One of the guys I flew with decided that the regular F/A he was flying with and hung out with was pretty cool and started banging her on a regular basis, problem occurred when he knocked her up and his wife was served his paternity paper work. He came home to his stuff out on the driveway and ended up with 800.00 monthly child support and what amounts to adjustable alimony. The judge wanted to make sure his wife got her share of his upgrade money...
Do the math, stick it in a F/A at your own peril, having a child with someone ties you to them for the rest of your life, so when you look down at that hot High School Grad F/A, who has her hand around your unwrapped schlong, and is guiding it towards her baby maker, ask yourself, when you were in high school, she was one of the ones/types who laughed at you in the cafeteria, what has changed.
Nothing, except your future earning potential and her future at Red Robin.
Wow post of the year!! I recant my bid avoid statement and will now instead be buddy bidding with ClickClickBoom. Awesome.

I don't normally post on here, but this is pretty funny. Sad thing is, it's kind of true. I try to explain this to FOs I fly with when they tell me about the FAs they've hooked up with. Doesn't seem to deter them though, so I figure, they'll just have to figure it out for themselves.

The part about the F/O and F/A is sadly true, the rest is opinion and observation lubricated by liberal daydrinking, into the gin and tonics now that the sun is over the yardarm somewhere in the Skywest empire. the sad end of the baby daddy story is the F/A was really crazy, as a bedbug and he only saw his kid a couple a times a month and never touched the crazy F/A again.
The sad thing is these guys, who were really laughed at in the school cafeteria spend a few years post grad geeking out on airplanes, and boom, they are instant chick magnets, what changed? They stopped eating boogers and having phone holsters? Newsflash, I can look to the right and see you guys picking your nose and eating the boogers when the sun is down, its called instrument lighting. And that phone belt holster, while ever so practical is a sign. So what is the big change that attracts the chicks(F/As) like flies to a fresh dropping? Money, or the potential for the paycheck, spend a few years banging the brains out of some clueless booger eater, get knocked up and a couple of kids, and bam he goes away for 4 days, and Biff, the high school sweetheart and UPS delivery guy drops by the house and delivers a few packages during the week while you overnight in CYEG.

You have described life at most airlines, not just Sky West.

Sorry, should've mentioned I was talking about the 145. For example, assuming no tailwind, I capture the GS at 10K and 250KIAS, wait until 10NM from the threshold, and have it configured, spooled up, stabilized at 1000ft without having to use speed brakes, just extending flaps on schedule and gear at 200. It's a draggy aircraft and slows down pretty fast.
