I haven't a clue about the Alaska or Seattle flying though.
I'll say this, though: if you want to fly the 175, SKW is hiring droves of guys to go fly it. At the moment the bases are ORD, DEN, and SFO. I'd count on ORD since the conventional wisdom seems to indicate that a lot of the former Bro guys will bid SFO/175, and the SFO 175 new hires will be displaced back to DEN or ORD.
Of course, take that advice as being worth about what you paid for it ;-)

SEA is very senior at the moment, and I understand it has been that way for a while.

SEA will be a 175 base before DEN.. You can already put SEA a Choice on the bid page.. The Alaska (the state) flying is On The Delta side.. I would say SEA will be junior.. Already under 10 years for RJ CA..(was 17+ just this past summer) bet it drops to 7 years soon up there...

I was wrong...no DEN 175 base. But, I did see the class listing yesterday for two new-hire 175 classes every month for the foreseeable future, as opposed to 1 new-hire RJ class every month.

Probably because they can't find enough crj sim time, and they need every pilot they can get their hands on. Everyone and their mother is clamoring for crj sim time.

I highly doubt they're hiring newbies into the 175 at the moment. Maybe they're hiring into a pool. After being initially hired into the ERJ, I was recently offered the option of switching to the CRJ or being put in a pool for the 175.
