That's cool but Walmart =/ Whole Foods. Anyway, did anyone in your class drive? Just wondering what the chances are folks do that?

There is also the 1 year seat lock that is keeping a good portion of the FOs from transitioning.

My seniority would be significantly better if I transitioned to the 175 but I'm personally holding off because I don't want to lose my Delta benefits. If a Delta contract came up on the E175 I would transition and lots of other senior people would.
I guess it all depends on bases. I'd be more junior on the 175 if I transitioned to it in SFO.

It's just really frustrating to see your seniority in base get worse every month... I'm now 7 numbers worse off than when I transferred in 7 months ago.

Few months?? I have a friend who is in DEN now on the 175 after RSV in ORD for 3 weeks. I don't think theres any base in the system right now aside from LAX or PHX that are not attainable within a few months of being on-line.

Denver is pretty junior. Latest bid, May 2015 hires got Denver... So 5 months from start possibly. Of course it is always changing, but Denver is relatively junior for CRJ FOs. COS is also junior.

Last bid had a bunch of people transferring out of DEN/COS and taking their chances with MSP or ORD. Seems that people don't want 85% 3 and 4 day pairings. Looks like any base that has a majority of United flying will be 4 day pairings. Also, the E175 flying is all for United and 85% 4 day flying. Just another consideration for those that are trying to decided between the CRJ and E175.

I've moved up in seniority in domicile 30% in the past year but my schedule is worse now than it's ever been. One year ago I was averaging 15-16 days off with 90 credit bidding 55%. This month I have 11 days off with 88 credit bidding 25%.

The pairings have gotten so bad recently that seniority for me is irrelevant for everything other than holding days off. At least I know I can hold Christmas off as one of my 11 days off I'll get in December.
