Seeing 50% reserves in ORD on the 175 while they're still hiring 50+ per month makes me think they're getting ready to upgrade at a quicker pace again. They can't upgrade if they don't have an excess of FOs to staff the flying while the senior ones go to class.
Also ORD is the junior base. I'm sure they put some extra staffing in ORD because they plan on people transferring out the first chance they get once more senior bases open.
My friend said Skywest is slowly chipping away at the 200's and has a good amount (+\- half) of their fleet is 70-76 seaters now. Someone confirm these numbers?

Do you know what a 10-Q is? Skywest has already put one out for the 3rd quarter. You're a couple key strokes and mouse clicks away from confirming that information yourself.

It has been roughly that way for a couple years. Not to mention for a while they were buying 200s.
Wow, SLC just went junior for CRJ FOs! Anyone see the December awards? Those guys must be a month out of training, if even that...

My *guess* is that when the captain upgrade bonanza came to a screeching halt a couple months back some guys looked around and decided to get in the left seat before the music came to a full stop.
