:) What is going on with this forum? This is the greatest time to be a pilot since the 60s. Demand is high, supply is low and corporations are profitable.
I swear if we went back to a hiring freeze people would be "thankful for a job!".

9E has had their bonus money rolled in to pay rates for all of 15 days. Republic hasn't passed anything yet. Our pay talks happened last spring! Can we be stable rational people on the internet and respect the timeline as we and the rest of the regionals work toward 9E/Republic rates?

The OO pilots being disingenuous about where we stand in this industry won't help achieve 9E rates. I do however like reading the fear based posts in here by non-OO pilots. I think I only come here to know that some of you guys still think about us daily. :o

Last Spring is when we should have asked for 9E money. Republic money at a bare minimum. Instead the west coasters and new hires were fine with 1%. People like you who are fine hanging on to the coat tails of everyone else is why we continue to drag behind. There isn’t any reason to come here any more other than the West Coast bases, which you’ll never hold as a Captain. If you’re out east the culture is dead and the company continues to find new ways to abuse Junior line holders. Sorry but sitting and waiting for the company to toss us some change is just sad. Hell, even when they finally do approach us with a pay bump it won’t be equal to our competitors, but they’ll use some fancy graphs to sell us longevity increases as part of our raise! Update your apps people.

100% agree. Morale is utterly hideous east of Denver. We have people quitting and heading off to part 135 operations so that they can procure time off. The schedules are rough. The further west one goes though, the more fanatic lifers are to be encountered, those who would be willing to sell all their belongings for the sake of the company's future. Sad state of affairs....

Quite possibly one of the worst posts I've read on APC, and that's saying something. If you want days off, you don't go Part 135. You may have been talking to an outlier that left, but it is certainly not the norm.

And yet, here you are. I bet you are a real treat to fly with.

And I bet you are in one of those magical domiciles out west. Don’t worry, we won’t be here much longer. You can have this place. When all the junior people leave maybe then you’ll realize what all the fuss is about.

Enjoy your 1%.

Have you seen the schedules in DTW for those junior of 30%? Maybe take a look at the bid transparency. It’s ugly out there. CH has posted some really eye opening data on all of this on the SAPA forums.

I never made it out to be the norm, but it is happening unfortunately, and that says something deeply disturbing about the schedules in Detroit.

It's getting bad, a guy recently sent a letter to chip and basically told him he's just going to call in sick 2 hours before show, just so he can get time off. Yes very foolish move, and he got fired for it, but that's where it's at. I've seen on FB 15, 20, 25, years plus guys asking for advice on getting their logbooks up to date. I know a CP for a large domicile thats going to interview for a cargo carrier.

The QOL is dropping, the days off are being reduced and morale is getting worse by the day. Management only listens to the butt kissers, so they have no idea.

A few years ago I would have said I was a lifer, I just paid to have my resume professionally done.
