I know a guy at Envoy who has been there for 5 years and still makes less than most Skywest FOs. It doesn't seem worth the headache of going to a company managed that poorly just for the chance to maybe possibly flow within the next 10 years. Skywest has movement and Envoy doesn't. It seems crazy to leave a company with movement for a stagnant one to chase a flow that's based on movement.
Also having flown regional service for Delta, United and American one of these companies sticks out as being by far the worst...

Flows are a joke anyway...especially with so much movement in the aviation industry right now.

I agree. All flows do is lock you in to a false comfort. While all your friends leave for other airlines... Its a smart move by managmnet to lock people in. But it opens ups less competition for the SkyWest guys that go to mulitpule airlines.. Not just waiting for one..

I'm not sure. I'm flying with a lot of guys who have gotten turned down from multiple legacies when they failed the interview. Not looking good for them and a flow would have helped. Everyone assumes they will eventually move on. Not true. Not even close,...many will get left behind unless they chose a less desirable like an LLC or bottom feeder cargo

Just make sure you don't convey this type of attitude outside of these forums or you might find your self in the same boat as some of the captains you've flown with in the future.

You got to make your own decision. If ORD is your goal as some of your other posts suggest, I highly recommend the CRJ with SKYW.
The notion that Envoy is remotely competitive in ORD is laughable...
If your are so motivated by monetary incentives, I suggest you pursue another career but aviation - almost any other professional field will have a higher lifetime NPV than flying.
