Skywest v2.0

Just since you're on the topic of ORD living, two questions.
1. Is Evanston an easy/tough commute to the airport, and how expensive of an area would that be?
2. In the interest of lower taxes, less tolls, cheaper property, etc., does anyone just live in southern WI and make the commute? Would you recommend that or is it not worth it?

Lower Wisco I have done myself for a month. It's a 2 hour drive and if you're trying to avoid tolls NOT the way to go. If you want cheaper living you don't need to go quite that far.

I am not referring to the south side of Chicago , I am referring to the south suburbs , oak lawn , hickory , palos , lagrange , etc i have lived in the south suburbs for 20 years and your statement of crime is false . If you lived in one of those suburbs you would probably know not just assume .

My buddy is pretty set on Lakeview. Thought that was a more expensive part of town but maybe not.
Really do appreciate all the input though.

Noticed a Skywest flight out of ORD Skywest 4283 as an e135. I'm assuming that's a typo?

Yeah, born and raised in the south burbs and now living in the nw burbs where I don't have to deal with that garbage so before you tell the kid to live at 95th and Cicero (Oak Lawn) he should know it's not the greatest part of town.
