That's not at all what it means.

CN means there was a coverage day, and no matter what you bid, you WILL work that day. It doesn't necessarily mean you have a trip plucked for that cn

You're thinking of "replaced due to line constraints" in the reason report. CN says we know what you want but we need you to do this anyway. For example, if you bid a stretch of 20 days off without vacation, pbs will say I see what you want but it's not gonna happen. Here, have this min credit 4am report four day instead!

How likely is it to get a SEA base as a new hire?

Which aircraft is a better choice for someone who wants to fly as much as possible, assuming a SEA base is an option?

Thanks
It's going to be about 7-10 months from first day of class until you get SEA. It's currently slightly more junior on the CRJ but that's a moving target while the E175s come online. I would tell a new hire from Seattle to take their chances on the E175 right now.

Apologies, No attitude was intended. I am just trying to get some perspective. I have an interview with Express Jet and was reading their forum and SkyWest continually came up as a company that does business better than Express Jet. So I started reading this forum and see a lot of the same discontent. Like I say, just trying to get some different opinions. No attitude intended.

This was my original post. Only responses I got were regarding Houston, which I appreciate. Apparently I have offended some with the brevity of my follow up. Did not intend to, just looking for some perspective.

So, I have interviews scheduled with Express Jet and SkyWest. Reading both related blogs on here, there is a ton of hate and discontent on both. I get that, regional life isn't going to be the best. Just looking for any recommendations. I reside in the Orlando area, so if I were to get on with SkyWest, what is the situation at IAH as far as being able to get that as a base, upgrade time etc?
